TOSHIBA'S NIC ERROR

Thread needs solution

Hi.

Along time ago i made a question to forum's people about another toshiba. I've got a new one, model Toshiba R700 and again, i've got problem detecting the nic ethernet. Always problems with toshiba.

Any administrator forum can explain me about problem with Toshiba Ethernet drivers (Intel), and how can i solve the problem¿?.

Im having the same issue with the R700's. currently doing the 14 day trial of snap deploy as im going to be having 150+ of these to image as well various Lenovo notebooks in the future. not going to be much use if NIC drivers are not updated often, the R700's are over 7 months old now.

Welcome to our Forum, we're glad to greet you here. I understand your concern, and will do my best to help you.

The issue is caused actually by the lack of drivers in the bootable components of the PXE Server. This is a known issue, and we have a solution for it: 

the problem will be solved in the upcoming update for Acronis Snap Deploy 3 (you may want to subscribe to our newsletter), and meanwhile we manually update the components. I will send you the instructions with links via PM in a minute. Please follow the mentioned steps, and check, whether the issue remains.

This issue is important for us, and we would like to have all the information regarding it stored in one place. Currently there's an open thread for this problem, and we would appreciate if you could kindly share you concerns, comments and questions with us there.
