Unable to Snap Images to Dell Optiplex 980
We have 30 Dell Optiplex 980s we are trying to image and are running into an issue where it crashes during the GUI phase. It looks like the image was created okay but when we try to snap the GUI pops up and then click - gone! Very frustrating as it's thrown off our timetable.
I searched the Forum and found locked topics http://forum.acronis.com/forum/14040 and http://forum.acronis.com/forum/11550.
They both have very helpful people talking about a magic CD that fixes it and that they will PM them. Not sure why that link isn't directly on this site. It's not like the Dell Optiplex is an obscure machine, but rather than ruffle any acronis feathers, I too would like a pm with my magic solution please :)
Thanks in advance.

We have the latest version (now) and while we can create a tib file (although it's 16.8GB) but when we try to image another 980 it just reboots.
The error messages point to a bad source...
Error Module: 100
Error Code: 262,157 (0x64000D)
Source "xxx" unavailable. Still not sure what needs to be done to fix this fiasco. Dell suggests switching to True Image by Dell :)

Hello Joe and Armin!
Thank you for your comments. Armin, thank you for assistance!
Joe, I entirely understand your frustration. I've checked with Development: the issue with Dell machine is reported to be fixed in the latest build as we could never reproduce it in our environment. For the same reason there's no new media or solution created: this issue in 3470 build is unknown to us. Thus it requires investigation.
Please gather the following information:
- Acronis Linux Report from the PXE server
- Acronis Info from the machine hosting Management Console and PXE server
- Exact sequence of steps performed
After that please submit a support case with the information attached, and let us know its number.
Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please, let us know, we will be glad to help.
Thank you!

Ok... looks like we still had some updating to do. It couldn't find the license server until we properly ran a Repair install on that. Now we can load images (kind of). I'm having problems with our current image but it may be another issue or the issue that the image was created with a license server that had not yet been updated.
I'll recreate the master image again now that everything is up to date. Crosses fingers xxxxx
PS: Case number is open and [ ref:00D3Zcb.5005BUN1n:ref ]

Dear Joe,
Thank you for your comment and for keeping me posted!
I've checked the case specified, and can see that the issue's being solved? Can you confirm it, or I'd better reopen the case?
Thank you!
