universal deploy question

Thread needs solution

So I've done some extensive research on imaging and I see that Acronis only supports .tib and .vhd files. I see that the Universal deploy component lets you deploy an image to multiple workstations that have different hardware specs. Now my question is do I need to make an image that has different driver components on it. For example let's say we have 2 dells one a optiplex and one a dimension...do I need to make an anwer file and have different settings for each machine or does acronis see the image that I've created and then prompts me to add additional drivers for each different machine type. Hope I'm making sense.

Thanks,

Roosh

You make a master image first. Then you make a driver repository containing the drivers for each different PC type you will be deploying to. When you go to deploy, you direct it to the driver repository to find the drivers it needs. It will search this directory automatically for the correct drivers. In theory. sometimes you still need to specify drivers to install anyway.
