View and edit ASD Rescue Media (ISO)

Thread needs solution

Hello,

Any idea how to access and modify the contents of ASD 3 Rescue ISO?

I tried to mount it in virtual drive, open in several image editors and even burn it on CD - but there are no files inside.

Thanks, Michael

Hello Michael,

Thank you for your post. I will definitely help you with your question.

The reason the ISO image appears "empty" either when mounting it or burning it to a CD, is that the bootable rescue media uses Linux environment. Thus, it is impossible to view its contents in Windows. You can try any freeware utility such as Magic Iso for example, to extract the rescue media components.

By the way, I have checked the status of the case that you opened with our support department, it is currently being handled by our Expert team and I believe this issue will be resolved promptly.

If you need additional assistance or have any other questions, please let me know.

Thank you.
