Question 1:

Because True Image services run at startup such services scan attached disks.  These scans often discover disk or file system corruption which can and does cause a system freeze.  So the answer is Yes.

Question 2:

Not enough information for a definitive answer to be rendered.

Question 3:

If you are talking about the Microsoft Reserve Partition which I assume you are then there are a number of factors that can cause this.  Normally these partitions are either 100MB or 128MB in size.  Recently the latest clean installs of Win 10 will create a 16MB Reserve Partition.  The position on disk where this partition is located is the biggest concern not the size of the partition.  The latest release, version 6027 on the application seems to have corrected misplacement of this partition which was of some concern in the past.

Question 4:

Yes, you can make just an image of your SSD.  A restore of such image will not effect the workings of your games.  I would caution however that when you create the SSD image you choose the Options button and under the Exclusions tab remove the exclusions listed for .temp, .tmp., and all C:/ entries so that any saved game data residing on the C:\ drive is preserved.
