99% of my TIB's are corrupt

Thread needs solution

I went to clone a drive on Friday and Acronis kept stopping after only a few minutes.  I went through a bunch of steps and ultimately bought the new version which gives an error that says the TIB file is corrupt.  I tried this same TIB on my laptop with Acronis 11 and it also said corurpt.  I then noticed the validate option and ran it on all of my TIB's.  Pretty much every single one is corrupt.  The drive is fine, I can browse into and out of each TIB file I just cannot use them to reimage any drives.  I have about 4TB of images of very important machines that has taken me years to clone.  I really need to resolve this issue, recloning is not really an option.  Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello Ryan, we had another user who reported an issue with TIB being corrupt recently where the issue was down to generic device drivers being used in the standard (Linux based) recovery / rescue media which did not handle the actual installed hard drive correctly.  In that case, creating the WindowsPE Rescue media and allowing this to include the correct drive device drivers resolved the issue and the TIB files were no longer seen as being corrupt.

As far as looking at TIB files with older versions of Acronis such as 11, it would depend on which version was used to create the TIB file - there is backward compatibility between versions but I don't believe this extends to forward compatibility for images, i.e. if the TIB was created in ATIH 2015 or 2016 then I doubt that TrueImage 11 would recognise it correctly.
