Acronis Bootable Recue Media problem

Thread needs solution

Cannot find device driver 'PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_8C82&SUBSYS_78501462&REV_00' for 'Windows 10'

Place the driver on media or in a folder 'G:\System Volume Information' & click retry.

Just preformed a backup on a newly installed internal hard drive and created an Acronis Bootable Recue Media DVD-RW and was checking it out on boot to see if it would run smoothly prior to the time (God Forbid) I would actually need it.

Anyone know what kind of drivers it wants and why wasn't this backed up in the first place?

Patrick,

Welcome to the Forum.  From the looks of it I would guess that you are running the Universal Restore media which is only used to restore a backup file to new hardware specifically new motherboards or hard drive storage controllers.  For restoring a backup to the same hardware that the backup was made from you would use Acronis Rescue Media
