Acronis gripes

Thread needs solution

Can we have an option in the interface to delete old backups (read: manage) and not the only the whole scheme?  The FAQ says to boot the Acronis CD, but is it really that big of deal to add?

Also with a management interface we could see the history and what not instead of having to select a recovery method to do so.

Honestly, the interface seems to be afraid to give alot of information within the screen real estate it was provided.  So it looks modeled after some of Windows's 10 interfaces -- lackluster, plain jane and uninformitive.  Yet in Windows 10 if you hit more detail on the task manager (as an example) it gives all the information you'd probably every want.  Same thing with the file copy dialog.  See where I am going with this?

Also

The system tray Icon is called Acronis Monitor and it is always visible (seemingly) because of Acronis sync.  This is paid service I don't use and have no plan to even with free trials.  I'd rather have no system tray icon except when a backup is running and then it's there specifically to provide progress and statuses.  As it is right now when a backup is running i get a second system tray icon and the other monitor/sync icon is also there.  Now if i close out and disable the true image monitor exe then I don't get any icons to ever show up...

on the plus side, i've always loved the acronis engine and i always trust it to create a good backup
