There's a thread on this here.  Mine appears to have been caused by upgrading over TI2015; un-install and re-install fixed it for me.  No feedback from the others yet.

Looks like ill have to put a call into support.  Do they not chime in here?  Sort of regretting buying this now!

If anyone from ACRONIS would like to chime in here this issue is messing with a very important work computer.

Hi everyone,

The issue might be caused by the corrupted scripts of the backup tasks.

Please refer to this article in order to clean up the "dead" tasks. You will need the "task zap" command to delete all the task scripts.

Also make sure to upgrade to the latest build of Acronis True Image. Please download it from your personal Acronis account.

Hope it resolves your issues.

Hi Jury Lazarev,

This article you refer to offers no solution:

"recreate the issue" and "create step by step screenshots illustrating the issue" is impossible:

The problem is: when shutting down the PC, the Acronis message:

"Acronis is terminating the current operations, please wait'. The computer will automatically be turned off in about 2 minutes"

freezes the PC (untill hell freezes over), nothing on the keyboard responds, so no screenprint is possible.

The only way to shut off the PC is by pushing the actual button.

This is the 3rd time this happened, the 2nd time it crashed Windows 8.1 completely and I had to reinstall Windows.

Please come up with a solution that a non-nerd can execute!

Thanks, Sam

Deleting the tasks using task zap command seems to solve the problem for me. I have updated from an ATI 2014 installation and the list command showed a lot of tasks but I only have one scheduled backup. At the end I could not see if some of them are "dead" tasks.

What should be considered before task zap is used: All scheduling information of existing backups is removed and must be recreated manually afterwards. Also a little bit more information would be helpful and if this is a common problem it should be added to the troubleshooting FAQ

Hello all,

Please refer to the following thread.

Thank you,

"Acronis is terminating current operations" displays this wording on my PC.  My PC does turn off.

But I have a laptop where I don't have this problem.

Both my PC and laptop options seem to be set up the same way.

Not sure what is going on.

Bob

I noticed that there is a difference in the "Property" tabs, on my Laptop and PC.

My PC and Laptop are both Win 7.

You will see "Acronis Recovrery" on the tabs...thats for my PC.  But I don't have that on my laptop.

Maybe thats the problem?

Thanks,

Bob

Hi Bob,

I don't get a "Acronis Recovery" window like you show in your jpg.

Apparently there is a difference between Acronis on Laptop and on PC.

I have this problem with Acronis freezing before shutdown on my laptop, my brother, who basically uses the same program's,

doesn't have (untill now) this problem.

Apart from that my main problem is to how to get an AcronisSystemReport that is smaller than 5 MB (mine is 7 MB).

Thanks for trying to help,

Sam

Hello all,

Currently we have a known issue on the current product version, that the "Acronis Recovery" tab does not appear on 64bit systems.

If your system report is bigger than 5 MB please use the option "Sending feedback to Acronis" - in this case the size of the archive should not be limited. Please also attach the screenshots of the tasks from product interface (if possible together with the configured schedule options) and shown in Scheduler manager.

Thank you!

Hello

Sorry for the translation, download and throw "schedmgr.exe" (Acronis Scheduler Manager), then mark "task zap" and rest on the sideline entered.

Restart your computer to see if the message disappeared.

It worked for me on my two PC with no problem at all.
