Acronis Upgrade Disappeared

I had Acronis 2014 and sometimes the disk wouldn't boot in W8 installations so I upgraded to 2016 (or thought I did). I certainly paid for it, got a key and downloaded the software. Now when I start it it shows me a screen saying 'Create bootable media' (which worked), Acronis Cloud, and 'Enter serial number'. I thought that entering the serial number would take me to the product itself but neither the latest 2016 serial number or the 2014 number work. I cannot seem to get chat or phone support. Is there anything I can do?

Can you or did you get the Account sign in screen after installing the product? You might try logging in to your account on the Acronis support site and see if you can register the serial number for 2016 there. The registration procedure has changed so it might be necessary to attempt a live chat session on the support site to resolve your issue.
