AcronisTrueImage2016_6559 - "True Image is not installed"

Thread needs solution

Just upgrade to AcronisTrueImage2016_6559 on my HP 8540W laptop running Windows 10.

Acronis True Image won't run anymore, give me this message:  "AcronisTrueImage2016_6559".

Any thoughts on a fix or cleanup tool?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a failed upgrade.

1) Try disabling AV software and run the installer (download from your account) and "repair" the install and see how that goes

2) If it installs/repairs, but stil fails to launch, you can stop all Acronis services and rename C:\Programdata\Acronis\database to database.old, restart services and try to relaunch the app.

3) If all else fails - a fresh install will hopefully get you back on track.  Run the cleantool instructions:  https://forum.acronis.com/forum/113656#comment-334624

Try uninstalling with the cleanup tool http://kb.acronis.com/content/48668. Then re-install.
