Chris, welcome to these User Forums.

When you get the initial Acronis Rescue Media menu on the Rescue CD, which particular option are you choosing?

Some menus will show both a 32-bit and a 64-bit option - if your computer is a 64-bit machine then you can effectively use either option, but if it is a 32-bit machine then only that option will work for you, though I would expect an error to be shown if you chose 64-bit in that instance, i.e. the computer is not capable of running this or similar.

When you say you choose ATI and a procedure starts, does it bring you to a full screen ATI GUI panel or not?

It is possible that your display screen resolution is involved here?

Assuming that this is the default, Linux Rescue CD, then you can use the option VGA=Ask as a boot option.

See KB 3836: Acronis Bootable Media Boots into Garbled or Low Resolution GUI (this is from a much older version of ATI but the principle is very similar ref setting the video mode option).
