After updating to W10 version 1607 Acronis reports Scheduler Service is stopped

Thread needs solution

Using Windows 10 64 bit laptop (ASUS X555L) - installed the "anniversary update" this evening (gives version 1607). Since then Acronis reports that the scheduler service is stopped. Task Manager / Services shows that Acronis Scheduler2 Service is running. I can't see anything obvious that is stopped.

I've tried rebooting several times (I'm also having problems sending from Outlook 2010 via yahoo, but I think this is pure coincidence as I can send using other mail services).

Any ideas, please?

Try going to control panel >> adnistrative tools >> Services

Check for any Actonis services to see if they are stopped and or disabled and enable and statt them if need be. You can also try setting the scheduler service to automatic with delay as it may be waiting on other Windows services to start first that are taking too long.

if that doesn't help, grab the full installer from you Actonis account. Right click and run as administrator when you launch it. If it gives the option to repair or upgrade, give it a shot.

Thank you very much - the repair option did the trick :-)

Glad to hear it!
