Another issue ? Bluescreen 3 times since installing 2016

Thread needs solution

Another possible issue to go along w/ my other posting today. 3 bluescreens since upgrading to 2016 version. Didn't get a minidump file on the 1st 2 since I usually don't use a pagefile system. But activated it and got the attached minidump file. Error code was the same as the 1st 2 & roughly 18 - 24  hours apart. Ran memcheck for 4 hours after the 1st one and no errors so that's eliminated. Looked up the error code on Microsofts developer site and got the cause. See jpg screenshot attached. Programming error ??

Doesn't necessarily mean that Acronis is the culprit because BSOD's started after it was installed.

Do you overclock your system?  If so, set it back to defaults and see if the system behaves any better - mabye you're stressing the CPU or overvolting the memory too much and things are starting to take a turn on the hardware.

I'd recommend checking your Windows system and applicaiton logs about 15 minutes before it occured until 15 minutes after you recovered from the BSOD to see if anything else in them helps pinpoint the culprit.

It may be Bitdefender - see this post: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/e887dca6-68d3…

Bluescreenview is not always correct either, but it shows your dump file error as: IRQL_GT_ZERO_AT_SYSTEM_SERVICE ntoskrnl.exe  Others say it could be a bad displaydriver:  http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/help-bsod-with-mes…

Unfortunately, the specific error is fairly generic and may be driver related.  Go to your manufacturer driver page and see if there are any newer drivers for the chipset and/or graphics (at least).  If you install Microsoft drivers with updates, sometimes the Microsoft drivers conflict with custom manufacturer drivers and may not be the best for yoru system, even if they are newer than what your manufacturer offers.

Wish I could help more, but the info in the dump isn't a concrete error code for a specific one time issue.
