ATI performs operations at shutdown - How to get rid of?

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I have noticed that my system has slowed down as far starting up and shutting down since installing ATI 2016. Not only that sometimes when I set my system to shutdown I get a message ATI is performing operations. How can I set ATI not to perform any operations unless its on demand?

Thank you.

Also, if you have a scheduled backup, checked the advanced scheduling options.

- if you ask ATI to perform a missed backup at startup, and if you backup is long, you might not let ATI finish it before you shutdown, therefore ATI cancels the operation (operations in progress) but then it starts all over

- if you ask ATI to backup only during idle times, you might push it out until you shutdown, where ATI tries to complete the backup before shutting down the computer. If that fails, see above.

Finally, there as cases where there are some rogue tasks. The user made a lot of changes to existing tasks, or interrupted some backups... A simple way to clean this up is to uninstall and resintall, and to start new tasks in empty directories.
