Backup cannt RESUME?

hey :)

 

i'am trying to backup a 90GB folder to a cloud (not acronis cloud) i noticed that if i restart pc, the number of procceced MB is starting from scratch. is it means that there is no resume after restarting computer? SERIOUSLY? thats crazy.

A backup is a very complex and complicated process and stopping it might  lead to backup corruption.

We really value your data protection, so in order to ensure your data consistency the backup has to be started over.

I've clarified the question with the product team and here is the current state

Backup to Cloud - if interrupted will proceed from the point where it left. The process might look as if it starts from the beginning, but in fact it is scanning the uploaded data to proceed with uploading only the new parts. 

Replication to Cloud (available in Acronis True Image 2020) - will upload the data from the very beginning
