Backup does not find files. How to recreate backup definition?
My backup definition never finds any of the backup files. When I select the backup and click "Recover disks", I see the error "Cannot find version 1."
If I click Ignore, I see the error "There are no versions of the backup." Even if I click "Browse" to add an existing backup file, after entering its password, I see the same error: "Cannot find version 1."
Is there a way to recreate the backup definition, so it would find all the existing backup files (there 15 of them)?
Thank you.

Steve,
Thank you for your quick reply.
Yes, ever since my Windows version stopped working, I have been using the Acronis Rescue Media (ARM) for recovery, and of course it works.
However, ARM is a lot more time consuming, and the Windows version can keep track and delete versions as needed - when it works.
Is there a way to rebuild the database using existing backup files?

Ori, if you want to force a rebuild of the Acronis Database files, then this can be done as follows:
First: stop all Acronis Services shown in the Services.MSC panel.
Next: end all active Acronis programs shown in Windows Task Manager.
When all is quiet per the above, go to C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome and either delete or rename the Database folder found there to Database.OLD
Finally, relaunch the main ATIH 2016 application which will restart all the stopped / ended items and will create a new Database folder. The Database contents will be rebuild as you either run or validate your backup tasks.
