Backup file with 64bit = Backup file with 32bit ATIH?

Thread needs solution

When I boot up the Acronis ATIH 2016 LiveCD then there are two versions: 32bit and 64bit.

Are the backup archvies created by them (always) equal?

In other words: Can I (later) do a restore with 32bit ATIH LiveCD which was created by ATIH 64bit Live CD and vice versa?

Of cause - provided that the computer supports 64bit.

Are there any advantages of 64bit ATIH over 32bit ATIH beside the speed?

Yes, if you have a 64-bit processor with a 64-bit capable bios (most computers do, however a few cheap tablets have 64-bit capable Baytrail processors, but are neutered by a 32-bit only BIOS), you can boot to either 32-bit and/or 64-bit versions of the recovery media and they should function in the same way for backup and/or recovery.

I don't see any advantage over using 64-bit bootable recovery or the 32-bit version as the 32 bit actually should work on more systems since 64-bit ones support both but 32 bit only supports 32 bit.  I've also found that using the default Linux version of the bootable media that driver compatability for touchpads is generally better with the 32-bit drivers.  If you're using the PE version of the bootable media, shouldn't matter either way and you can always include any specific drivers during the media builder before you create the final media.

Long story short, it really doesn't matter if you have a 64-bit processor, but if you have a 32-bit processor, you have to use the 32-bit version.
