Backup OS
Hi All
I want to back up my C drive and OS at the same time, but would like not to do an entire PC backup.
Is this possible without using the entire PC backup option.
Thank In Advance.

Hi Creator
My backups have always been via the entire option, Although I just want to backup my C drive with the OS and files but do not know how to.
There are two drives in my PC, C with OS and main files and another drive for Linux only.
Last time I did a entire backup, it also included my Linux drive which surprised because it does not show up in windows 10. I had to stop the backup due to much space and time.
My Specs
Win 10
Sabertooth r2 fx
16 GB ram
2TB hard drive main
1TB drive with Linux

Hi bradley brooks,
The two Hard Drives are not partitioned? If not partitioned, therein lies your problem. You need to do the entire Hard Drive.
It makes no sense whatsoever to back up the operating system files themselves, because if your Hard Drive should fail, how would you restore the operating system?
You can use a program like SmartSync Pro http://www.smartsync.com/ This program allows you to select folders to back up. You can read about Smart Sync Pro from that link.

You need to select the Disks and partitions option. Then make sure your Linux disk or partition is unchecked in the subsequent screen.

Thanks for the info everyone.
I think Joey's concept is best and kind of the way I thought it would work.
I've just realized 100% via acronis on youtube, that I can backup to the cloud and restore at the same time rather than just folder and files. Obviously the entire PC would take ages, which is fine but how long is the restore? Quicker than USB?
