Backup Size

Thread solved

Hi,

My backup size on the last ten daily incremental backups was only 12.00 KB. Before that they were always 810.33 GB. This happened before and I started a new backup and it backed up the right size, but now it is back to showing a 12.00KB size. Look at the screenshots and you can see the two files on the destination drive and the email from Acronis. I will also include the settings files. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Michael

Michael, your screen image #1 shows you have either ATI 2020 or 2021 which uses the new .tibx backup files, and therefore seeing the 12KB (metadata) file is correct and expected and your backup -0002 file is a consolidated file containing both the full and any associated incremental files for the backup task.

See the following KB documents published by Acronis with regards to .tibx files.

Hi Steve,

OK that is good news. Thanks for the help.
