backup size on ATIH backup screen does not file size

Thread needs solution

I have noticed that the backup size does not match..

Please see screenshot and advise.

Yes, the backup size is not always accurate. Things tend to get cleaned up when ATI implements auto cleanupof the backup versions.

If that bothers you intenively, you can shutdown ATI, delete the database folder in c:\programdata\Acronis\TrueImageHome\ and relaunch ATI, then run a backup. This should correct the size estimates.

so I have to do that everytime the ATIH screen count does not match the file size.  So what exactly is being displayed on the total size- just my backup and all the junk files that ATIH attaches to that size, why can't they clean up so that every backup you run will reflect the actual size.  I am not sure how this will affect those full + incremental, but I only run full backups.

really doesn't make sense, because I might think that I installed a lot of software that it grew that big.  Very confusing to the user, who pays attention to the size.
