Backup stopped

Thread needs solution

I have a Windows 10 laptop.

The external drive is attached. Am able to "see" it from File Explorer.

Acronis "sees" the connected external drive.

When attempting to do a backup it states "Unable to create volume snapshot"

Please download a copy of the Acronis VSS Doctor tool (link in my signature) and run this stand-alone tool to check for any VSS issues on your computer.  The tool will produce a report and may offer to fix some types of known issue for you if it can.
You can save a copy of the tool report and attach it to the forum via the File > Upload option as a text file.
