Backup Types
I have set up 2 backups for my home PC. 1 backs up my entire PC to the cloud (remote backup / DR)and the other backs up my entire PC to my NAS (local backup for quick restores). Now the question I have is after a full backup is taken, does acronis only backup the changes or does it do a full backup everytime?
Is it also possible to setup any special schedules ie 1st of the month doa full backup and then incrimentals for the rest of the month?

With ATI, each backup you set is actually a task. A task can be set up a full backup, incremental backup or differential backup. When a full, each task run produces a full backup. Otherwise, the task produces a full backup during the first run, then produces an incremental or differential backup. You can set up the task to produce a new full backup after a certain number of incr/diff backups. Incr/diff backups are always associated to the last full backup of the same task.

Kind of. YOu can definitely schedule the backup task to run every first day of the month, for example, or every first Sunday of the month, but you cannot ensure that this will be a full backup, unless it is set up as a full task. You could set it up to run the 1st of the month, as a weekly backup and then create a new full after 3 incrementals, but if you miss a week, the full backup might not happen on the following 1st of the month.
