Can No longer Back up my PC. Backup cannot be started when drive is plugged in

Hi,

Acronis has stopped backing up my PC. It wont recognize the external HDD even though it hasn't changed on the system and contains several backups. See screenshots.

Any suggestions?

Bernie, the first suggestion is to ask you to try reselecting the Destination drive for this backup task again and see if that resolves this issue.

Your first screen image shows the destination G: as being a folder but your second image shows G: as being a Seagate Backup Plus drive which I would expect to be an external drive and therefore should show as a USB disk icon rather than a folder?

See the image below with your destination versus what is expected for this task.

You should be seeing the icon on the right for your G:\ destination, not a folder.
