Can not create a Boot Media Win 10

Thread needs solution

I can make other version (2015) of Boot Media no problem. I download the 2016 ISO to create a DVD and it does not work goes into Win 10. I see in 2016 there is an added folder  EFI.

This is the only way i have used True Image is with a Boot Media, i dont install the full version at all.

thanks rich

Just to be sure - make sure secureboot is not enabled on your machine - that will prevent external media from booting (although probably not the issue if you're able to use the 2015 boot media - still check though)

Acronis boot media in 2016 is UEFI and/or CSM/legacy/bios/MBR bootable so it can do either.  However, depending on how your bios is setup, it may be skipping over the features and trying to boot one of the other first, although not available.

Your bios should have a boot overried/one time boot menu option (f12 for Dell, Esc or Del for most other systems).  Once in the one time boot menu, see if there is an option for UEFI disk as well as just disk (without UEFI).  Try one and then the other.

Here's a screenshot of a PC that is at the one time boot menu showing aboth a legacy USB boot and a UEFI USB boot option.  The same will apply with CD's as well.
