Can TI 2016 copy DISK1 contents to DISK2 and DISK3 at the same time?

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I want to copy my pics & videos to an external disk and then do the same to another external disk. Just this, no operating system or anything else.

1) Can this be done with TI?

2) Can I copy to both at the same time?

3) If I cannot, will TI clone external disk2 to external disk3 if they are different sizes?

4) If I am on the wrong track, what is the best way to do this?

Thanks, Bob

Bob, if all you want to do are to copy your pictures and videos to another drive / drives then you probably don't want to use ATIH, especially if you are wanting to keep the files as they are on the source drive, and still be able to access individual files directly.

ATIH backups up files into a special container file which will then require the use of aspects of the Acronis program integration with Windows if you want to then access the contents which are held in read-only format.

It cannot copy to more than one drive at once with the exception of using the Backup Reserve Copy option.

Cloning is really intended primarily for use in migrating Windows OS drives to a new drive such as an SSD drive and all clone operations are manual and must be performed using the Acronis Rescue Media outside of Windows completely.

I would suggest looking at any of the many file synchronisation utilities that are available and which may better suit your requirements.
