Cannot Close ATI 2016 Setup Window
After setting a backup I get the following pop up message when I attempt to close the setup window:
"If you leave this window, the current configuration settings will be lost. Are you sure that you want to cancel configuration of backups? YES NO.
If YES selected the settings window immeadiately closes and the settings for the backup are lost. If NO is selected the setting window does not close but no scheduled backups will run.
If I select "Back up now" ATI 2016 will not run a one time backup. It looks like non of the settings are bein saved.
This is a W10 Dell and is stable. ATI 2016 has been uninstalled and reinstalled without any improvement. The b/u is supposed to go to a USB2 Western Dig 2 Tb drive. It has worked in the past with ATI 2015 and W8.1 on this machine.
All morning invested so far and about to toss the towel, ask for refund (??) and do something else for backup. But not yet.
Any ideas out there??

When you see that message, it is saying "Save your task setttings" before doing exiting the task.
Save your task ( as referenced by Acronis Dmitry Nazarov) by clicking the "LATER" option shown in my capture below.
Perhaps we can get Dmitry to use his influence at Aconris to get that instruction as appear as part of the User Help file. The use of the "LATER" option is missing from both 2015 and 2016 user help file/web help file. The user needs to know how to save an "unscheduled task but the user manual is silent on how to perform that very common task.
Some additional help.

Hello, GroverH!
Thank you for your input.
I've just checked the User Guide and the "Later" option is, in fact, mentioned in the step-by-step description. See step #9 here for example.

Thank you Dmitry,
Item 9 extract:
To run the backup later or on a schedule, click the arrow to the right of the Back Up Now button, and then click Later.
The point that I am trying to make is that the help file does not indicate how to create a non-scheduled task.
Item 9 does not mention that the scheduler must be set to "do not schedule" in order for the "later" to achieve a non-scheduled task.
I would argue that there is as many non-scheduled tasks created as there are scheduled tasks. I believe the help file should provide explicit instructions on how a non-scheduled task is created--which is why I have a dedicated post illustrating how. The help file should be providing these instructions rather than my personal posting.
At the very least, the help file should have provide a screen capture similar to the below. Too many users have backups forced upon them via a schedule and the use of "later" does not prevent that from happening.
