Cannot open control panel of acronis 2016

Thread needs solution

Hi

I cannot open the the Acronis 2016 main program window

Acronis Scheduler2 Service is running

When I click on the Acronis trueImage.exe it seems that it run. But instead nothing happens. in Task Management the program appear for a few seconds  and then disappear. Today, after many attempts, it starts. but when i closed it then doesn't open anymore

Danilo, please check that you are running ATIH as Administrator and that you have excluded the program binaries from your security programs.

ok. thank you for your reply. i've tried to do  it, but it does'nt work for me.

backup does regularly, but i can't open the panel.....

i've just tried reinstall the program, but nothing....

other ideas?

Danilo, some other users have found that they have needed to run ATIH 2016 in Compatibility mode for Windows 7 when they have encountered this type of problem.

Right-click on the Acronis icon for the program on your desktop then select Properties.

Click on the Compatibility tab and select the option to Run this program in compatibility mode for... then select Windows 8 or 7 from the list of OS versions shown.
