Cannot recover: video frame error

Thread needs solution

Hi,
I am using Windows 10 with a Lenovo Yoga 730. I tried to do a recovery from Acronis in Windows 10 ( not from a bootable media) but the computer hangs immediately after reboot with the following message:

Video mode setup error: Error 0x1480006: Invalid video framebuffer parameters.

| line info: 0xac98503a7af41d1

| $module: bootwiz_efia64_42

Kernel console may work incorrectly.

Thanks for help,
Daniel

Daniel, welcome to these public User Forums.

It is not recommended to start a Windows OS drive recovery from within Windows as this will launch a temporary Linux based environment to perform the operation, but this may not have the correct device support for your computer.
