Can't log in

Thread needs solution

I bought a new PC.

Error too many activations.

I cannot log in to change the licence to new PC.

Your work around is way too complicated.

However I could log in to change my password why?

Please see KB document: 56553: Acronis True Image 2016: "You've exceeded the maximum number of activations for this serial number" which offers good advice on how to resolve this issue yourself.

If you still have a problem with activation, then please contact Acronis Support directly as we cannot help further with activation issues from this user forum as we have no access to the Acronis systems involved in this area.
