Clone to Smaller SSD
I am using TI 2016. I want to Clone my 500gb SSD to a 480gb SSD - What is the procedure for doing this. Will I run into any issues? I assume the cloned drive will be bootable ?
Thanks

In general you should not have issues doing this as long as you do your research beforehand and follow the recommended procedures outlined in the user guide. You will need to note that cloning a Windows system disk should be done with the new target disk installed in the machine in the same location as the current source disk is installed.
I am providing a link to the online user guide pages for cloning and migration. You should give this entire section of the guide a good read. It should answer most all of your questions.

Thanks for the link. How do I check the following:
Warning! Your old and new hard drives must work in the same controller mode (for example, IDE or AHCI). Otherwise, your computer will not start from the new hard drive.
Assuming the mode controller is the same if I connect the 480gb ssd where my second drive is currently installed then clone to the 480 gb ssd it should be bootable? My current boot SSD is installed on sata port 0 on motherboard, secondary drive is installed on SATA port 1

Are you working on a laptop or a desktop? In general as long as both disk are attached to ports run by the same controller you will be fine. Consult your manual or the manufacturer website for more information.

Yes your summation on disk connection on your board should work fine.
