Cloning Disk

Thread needs solution

When I Clone a Disk, everything clones fine. But when the cloning starts the program dissapears from the screen and tool bar. But the clone continues to run. Anyone esle seen this issue?

It's been reported before on systems (primarily laptops) that have the NVIDIA optimus (can't remember what the AMD version is called) in the bios.  If you have a system in this scenario, disable optimus in the bios (if you system allows you to).  Basically, it's not capable of switching from the embedded intel graphics to the dedicated graphics card in the Linux media so forcing the system to use the dedicated graphics card should eleminate this behavior. 

I would also recommend NOT starting the clone from Windows, and using your recovery media instead - it's safer (starting in Windows overwrites the Windows bootloader with code to launch Acronis and if Acronis fails to load for some reason, this may not get reverted automatically).  Plus, starting with the recovery media will allow you to determine if the graphics are working properly before you start the clone so that you're not guessing if it's done or not.
