Cloud Sync progress bar reliability?

Thread needs solution

I'm currently syncinc a large folder (123 Gb) on Windos 10. It seems to be going well, but the progress bar concerns me. So far 50Gb have been uploaded, however the progress bar is seemingly stuck at 2%. Is this normal? I'd hate to have to start over.

The progress bar is trying to forecast the remaining time based on the past performance of the upload and the amount of data remaining to be backed up. This estimation can fluctuate. The first thing to do is to verify that Acronis is actively using CPU and network resources. You can do that by launching the Windows Task Manager (CTRL-ALT-DEL, Task manager).

Don't rely on a quick glance, observe the behabior of the Acronis Background processes.

If ATI is active, you are probbaly in good hands. If not, launch services.msc and verify that all Acronis services are actively running. If everything is OK, then, it is posisble something is wrong on the server side of Acronis. You will have to give it some time over night to verify this. If one service is not running, you will have to restart the computer and check again.

Let us know how it goes.

Hi Pat,

Thanks for the follow up. The upload is going well (approaching 100 Gb as of right now - another 20 gigs to go). I can see the files that have been uploaded so far in the web server and its all seems to be adding up. Progress bar on the task bar is still at 2% (it was up to 4% at some point). Outgoing activity on my ethernet port has been steady throughout the day - so I think I'm in good shape. I'll update the post once it's done.
