constant failure to backup

Thread needs solution

Hi 

After a fresh installation on a new computer my Acronis refuses to back up (yes I have reorganised my account for the new computer).  It starts to back up and then gets no further than 103MB in its calculation of how much data and sticks there until if finally gives up 10-15 minutes later declaring a failure.

I know the pathway to my Synology works and the computer is brand new so does anyone have any idea why this is happening please?

Please download the MVP Log Viewer tool from the link in my signature and use this to check for what messages are being written to the task log file for you failing backup task.  Post the log file(s) if you need help understanding the entries.
