Creating a backup image corrupts the backup drive

Thread needs solution

When I boot True Image from a flash drive using the EFI boot manager, true image will corrupt the off-line backup drive NTFS partition in which the partition image is created. The corruption involves Security Descriptors and unused ID Discriptiors. The errors are easily corrected by Windows without corupting the backup archive provide the errors are corrected before accessing the corrupt partition. Is there a fix for this problem? I have reinstalled True Image on the flash drives several times and have used the two most recent versions of Acronis 2016.

I don't remember having seen this issue before... Is this a repeatable problem? Does it happen with another disk or only with this disk? It could be a disk issue.

I don't think there is a fix for the problem. I would run a chkdsk /R on that backup disk.
