Deleting backups and syncing the database

Thread needs solution

According to http://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/ATI2016/index.html#13712.html, deletion of backup-files should be done within ATI in order to keep the database synchronised with reality.

Well, what if I have deleted TIB files manually? How do I re-sync the database with reality? Should I care, or will it eventually fix itself when the clean-up rules kicks in by slowly allowing the database to catch up with reality?

Any task involved in manual deletions should be manually re-validated reponding "ignore" to each error prompt for each file deletied.

The task may or may not become reusable.  You may need to recreate any task involved in manual deletion.

Set up your future tasks with custom backup scheme with automatic cleanup so the task does the deletion .
