Excluded Files

Thread needs solution

I am uograding my 256GB SSD to a 512GB SSD.  I am using Acronis TI 2016 on win 10 x64.

I want to do a complete image and then restore.

During a default image, there are a bunch of exclusions to include system volume info and some app data.  Any reason to not back these up?

By default Acronis excludes those files to make the backup faster. If you are doing a Disks and Partitions backup no files will be excluded. If you are doing a folder and files backup these files will be excluded. You can remove any of thses files from the list if you wish.

i though on a full disk backup (where I select all partitions) excluded files are excluded as well.  I never checked and assumed they are.

I did do a restore a few months ago on a system and all the restore points were gone.  I assumed this was becuase exclusion of the system volume information.
