Experimental image of Linux Mint partitions
Using ATI boot flash, I made an image of 3 partitions. Linux required sector-by-sector. No problem here, I understand that.
But two partitions got a warning that a bitmap is corrupted. Is it really? And which partitions? I suspect both ext4 but can't tell from pictures nor from the worst log Acronis has ever invented. Pending operation 172 tells nothing about which partition.
Perhaps someone can tell me how serious is the warning and where. Please, see attached pics and log. Read just the bottom 2 log sections.

See post: https://forum.acronis.com/forum/115378#comment-344748 from Slava about known issues when backing up EXT4 file systems plus that whole post on the same subject, showing the same issue with bitmap corruption.

Thank you, Steve. Fantastic link. Just FYI: the two partitions are 32 and 34 gig, the image was 31. Not huger as some people experienced.
Also FYI, if I recall correctly, on XP with the good old ATI-10, there were no such bitmap issues and I was able to restore Mint partitions or perhaps Mandriva. They were ext4 as well. Here I won't even try.

If you still have ATI 10 listed in your Acronis Account, there is nothing to stop you from downloading the Rescue Media .ISO file and burning this to CD to use on your Linux systems.
