Extend to 3-place version

Thread needs solution

Hallo,

is it possible, to extend my version True Image 10 Home (2016) from a 1-Place to a 3-Place version?

If not, how to go forward on the base of True Image and not the Cyber-Version?

Thank you

Dietmar, welcome to these public User Forums.

If you really are using True Image 10 and not True Image 2016, then the only place you may find extra licenses will be on a third-party resellers site such as Amazon or eBay etc.

Acronis no longer sell any licenses for perpetual product versions and will only provide a subscription to the latest ACPHO product.

Hallo Steve, thank you for the answer.

on the disk it says: Acronis True Image 10 Home ( I thought it is the same as 2016, sorry ).

I have two Windows10-PCs. Only Nr 1 has the Acronis Program, and I am looking for a Backup-Program for Nr. 2.

I thought , that I can bye another 1-Place-Version for PC Nr 2. But I anderstood by Acronis, that this is not possible ; the registration would not accept this.

Is this realy fact?

Dietmar, your copy of True Image 10 home actually dates back to around 2007 and was never designed to work with Windows 10 or the earlier Windows 8 or 7 versions either as shown in the TI 10 User Guide documentation.

1.3.2 Supported operating systems
Windows® 2000 Professional SP 4
Windows® XP SP 2
Windows XP Professional x64 Edition
Windows Vista Ready (except for the Acronis Snap Restore feature)

Windows 10 has only been supported by Acronis for ATI 2015 or later versions.

If you are not wanting to look at Acronis Cyber Protect versions and subscriptions, then there are a number of alternative backup products that do still provide perpetual licenses, including free versions that you can use.
