Failed to back up file or folder
I have ATI 2016. Everytime I try to back up files or folders, I keep running into these errors 'Failed to back up file or folder'. I don't know what it could be!

I did run chkdsk and said that it fixed some bad sectors. But when I generate an Acronis System Report, it keeps saying letters 'E' on Acer C: and System Reserved. But anyway, I was able to successfully backup the computer using the Acronis Bootup Disc by checking only the Acer C: and System Reserved and leaving Recovery Partition unchecked. I don't know why it doesn't work using ATI on the desktop.

Hello,
The letter "E" in the Acronis disk report means that the volume has errors (errors in file system due to some reasons, e.g. bad sectors or logical errors). If the disk has logical errors, it can be successfully fixed with chkdsk. if there are bad sectors, they can be also fixed with chkdsk, but in most cases it is a temporary solution. I would suggest you to contact our Support team to investigate this issue.
If you know exactly which file/folder cannot be backed up, you can add it to the exclusions.
Is it possible to copy the folder where that file is located to any other folder?
