Failed to create the default sync - How can i solve that?

I upgraded from TI2014 to TI2016.5518 today.

I have used the Sync function several times a week with TI2014 without flaws but now when i try to create a sync in TI2016 get an error message: "Failed to create the default sync" (See the attached image)

Prior to installing TI2016 i logged into the Acronis Cloud and used the "Clean up space" to remove everything.

The event code i get is: 0x019203FE+0x0191005B+0x019A0058

How can this be solved?

Hi Roger,
can you create a new non-default sync? Does it work as expected?
Also please check if sign out/sign in from account in the product changes the situation.

No, in order to create a non-default sync one must first create the default sync. So trying to create a non-default sync is not an option in this case.

I logged out, restarted the computer, launched TI2016 and logged in but that did not solve the issue.

I think this may have something to do with it:
I was on the TI2016 beta and got a serial number for 3 computers and when i installed TI2016 today i just logged in and that license for 3 computers were automatically assigned instaed of the license for 1 computer i just had bought. So in TI2016 i get to the Account tab, clicked on "Show serial number" and pasted in the serial number i got today. I got a message that told me that a 3 computer license could not be downgraded to a 1 license.

I solved the licensing issue by logging out and then logged in again. So instead of "Acronis True Image for 3 compters" my info now says "Acronis True Image Cloud", but i still cannot create the default sync. (See the attahced image)

The beta of TI2016 has never been installed on this machine.

Never mind, i installed TI2014 on my laptop and starting a sync there made TI2016 on my desktop to wake up.

I have now re-installed TI2014 on my desktop as well since TI2016 lack features TI2014 have. TI2016 need more screen real estate since the folders used when you pick what files to backup is so large compare to the ones in TI2014. TI2016 is not an upgrade, it´s a downgrade due to many small things.

As a test i took a backup with TI2016 and took then a backup of the same files with TI2014 and the resulting .tib file created by TI2016 is larger than the file created by TI2014 and takes longer time to finish. Go figure...

Buying only a subscription to Acronis Cloud is not possible today so i bought True Image Cloud, iow TI2016+Acronis Cloud. When that subscription is due to renewal i may continue to use TI2014 and find another cloud provider.
