Failed to retrieve the backup list from Acronis Cloud TIH 2016 build 6595.

Thread needs solution

Acronis clould backup started failing with Failed to retrieve the backup list from Acronis Cloud in the console log and is in the Connecting to Acronis cloud/ Calculating Time remaining in the application until it finally times out. The backup is there and I tried to create a new Acronis cloud backup but had the same outcome.

Sharon, it sounds very much like there is either an issue with your Acronis Cloud Server or in the network connection to that server.

Please see KB 4350: Acronis Backup to Cloud access ports and hostnames and KB 47145: Acronis Cloud Connection Verification Tool and try using the latter to verify the connection to your Cloud Server.

If you still are seeing a problem, then open a Support Case direct with Acronis as they can check the Server from their end of the connection.
