failing on consolidating backups
is there a way to "reset" the list of backups being "consolidated"
my backup is searching for a file that does not exist and so fails the final steps after completing the backup
I tried starting a fresh Differntial backup but it still wanted to find this old and phantom entry
>>>
AM Failed to open backup E:\My backups\C-drive_start_090113\C-drive_start_090113_diff_b21_s4_v1.tib. Make sure the backup location is accessible and contains all versions of the backup. This backup may also be corrupted.
>>>
I'd like to do this using my current settings as much as possible without having to re-enter everything
Thanks

I do have Automatic Cleanup as I try to set it up to run "unattended" indefinitely. I believe if I turn that off then my backup dive will fill up.
Somehow it is looking for backups to cleanup (consolidate?) that no longer exist.. they may have been manually deleted?
So is there a way to "reset" what it is looking for to "consoldiate"?
(I am using TrueImage 2014)

You can force the application to rebuild the backup database which might resolve the issue. The downside to that is that it requires you reconfigure any bakcup tasks that you have created. To do this follow the steps below:
01) Stop all Acronis services (control panel >>> administrative tools >>> right click services and "run as administrater")
02) Navigate to the following HIDDEN directory and rename the "Database" folder to "Database.old" or whatever you want:
C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Database
03) Start the Acronis services again.
04) Launch Acronis and then reconfigure the existing backup task (select the source and destination and verify options). Then save the changes and by running the backup.
Note that the Database folder may be hidden so you would need to change the view in Windows Explorer to Show Hidden Files.
