File recovery from incremental backups after an earlier full partition recovery

Thread needs solution

I suspect that this topic has been covered before, but I have not been able to find a reference to ATI 2016. I had to recover my hard drive from a partition backup that is a week older than my most recent incremental file backup. Do I neeed to separately restore each incermental file backup that came after the partition recovery to ensure that all of the files that may have been added or changed are restored. I read that for an older version of ATI, only the most recent incremental backup needs to be installed and that ATI will automatically go back to the most recent full file backup to look for files that should be restored. Is this still true?

Yes, the most recent incremental is the correct choice.
