Force New Incremental onto Old Full Backup: How?

Thread needs solution

In a desperate attempt to back up when I have no space left, and no ability to backup online, I have deleted the incrementals of my current full backup, and am trying to force a new incremental onto the old full back up.  TI keeps insisting on doing a new full back up, instead, which I do not have space for.  Can I somehow force an incremental?  (The scheme is set to only do incrementals.)

Feeling dangerously vulnerable at the moment without a current back up with me while traveling.

David, welcome to these User Forums.

How did you delete your current incremental backup files?  I assume that this was using Windows Explorer but what did you do after deleting these files?  Did you run a validation of your backup task to reconcile the information in the Acronis Database as otherwise the database still contains details of all the deleted files.

Try doing the validation, take the ignore option for each file reported as missing, then once the process has completed, retry doing the backup to see if it will create a new incremental backup.

There is no way that I am aware of to force an incremental backup to be made other than via the normal process.
