Help with imaging a Surface Book
Hi everyone, I just acquired a Surface Book and am trying to create an image of its SSD. I've used various versions of True Image over the years and have successfully created and re-imaged backups of several desktops and laptops.
However, I'm having issues with getting True Image 2016 (bootable media version) to work with the Surface Book. True Image boots up fine on the device, but as soon as it loads, a message appears stating that no hard drives were found, and the following error code is given: 0x000101F4+0x000A01FD
I have done some searching on the Acronis forum, and have stumbled upon various posts which state that certain devices with eMMC or PCIe SSDs may have issues with the 'regular' bootable version of True Image. As I understand it, the Surface Book has a PCIe SSD.
Is there a workaround to this?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
