I have a personal internet cloud - should I get TI 2016, or TI Cloud?

I have a WD MyCloud Mirror NAS on my home network. 

I'd like to back 3 computers up. Two of them are at home and connected directly to the NAS via a home network. TI 2016 shouldn't have problems backing these up.

The third computer is at work and has a high-speed internet connection.

I understand the WD MyCloud NAS allows me to create an internet-accessible personal cloud. This should be pretty speedy as I have a 1Gbps/1Gbps fibre connection.

Can I install TI 2016 on my work computer and back it up onto that personal cloud via the internet?

I couldn't seem to find any info on this specifically (most of it is about backing up to a home network NAS).

Of course, I could save myself the trouble and just subscribe to the Acronis TI Cloud service. That, however, means a recurring annual fee, whereas the TI 2016 3-computer license is a one-off fee. It's also half the price of the annual Cloud subscription. If I can save some $, why not :)
