I have a question about using Acronis with Windows 10

Thread needs solution

I recently used Acronis to make a backup image of Windows 10 on my computer, and I noticed something which I don't think was there when I was using Windows 7 and Windows 8.

Where Acronis asks you to tick the boxes about what to back up, the correct boxes are usually ticked for you.

With this Windows 10 image it looks like there was an additional box called Recovery Partition, that was not checked.

I did not know what to do here, whether or not I should tick that box or not.

I ended up trying it both ways. I made one image with the box ticked, and I made another image with the box not ticked and I was able to restore both images successfully.

But I would like to ask what should I do with that Recovery Partition box. Should I leave it unticked, or should I put a check mark in it?

The three boxes are:

NTFS (Unlabeled) C:

EFI System Partition

Recovery Partition

The Recovery Partition should be included as this gives you the means of doing Windows recovery actions such as Startup Repair.
