iMac with Bootcamp for Windows 10 Backup failed - Cannot resolve the source path
Trying to make a disk backup on a iMac | Bootcamp Win 10
I continue to get "Cannot resolve the source path" then "Failed to open the backup location" with finally "Operation has completed with errors."
I have ran CHKDSK on the Windows 10 side of the fence.
I have ran Disk Utility on the iMac side.
Also I tried safe boot
I have tried a different backup device.
Any ideas to get a full disk backup using TI 2016 Please help ..

Thanks for the reply on the PC version not compatiable with Mac ... I am running the Mac version on the Mac booted into OS X ... I'll double check the site to see if there is a newer version than the one I have installed.

Although my user id denotes I am a Beginner ... PROBLEM has been solved.
I resolved my Mac backup failing issue. The Mac having the trouble is a brand new iMac and using Migration assistant I copied an old 1979 Acronis Archive as a Favorites ... the folder / device was missing .. so I removed it from the Favorites using Command + Dragging it off .. into a puff of white smoke .... removed alot of other dead / old items as well.
End result I am running the backup again and it has made it way past the original choke point (where it was failing everytime in the same place on the progress bar) .... this was very hard to determine what the problem was because the logfile didn't display any clues as to which path it could not resolve. No option to continue with the backup or a user setting for this type of condition.
Someone from Acronis may wish to tag this fix and post for any others that may have fallen into the same rabbit hole.
