Inconsistent validations

Thread needs solution

I have several instances over the past year, in this 2016 version, of an issue shown in the attached picture and log.
How on earth can I tell if I have a valid image or not?
The log doesn't even tell me WHY validation fails then passes.
I don't use ATI client, just bootable USB rescue, so can't revalidate from explorer.
I wish we could revert back to using version 9 or 10 or 11 which had no such surprises and were 100% reliable on windows XP and 7.
Seriously thinking of ditching this ATI and going with some free alternative for windows 10.

Validation may fail if run immediately after the creation of a backup.  Why is of course the question and  not one that I can answer.  If validation is run seperately, apart frim the backup task and fails then that is of concern.  If that passes however then the integrity of the file is fine.

I've been delaying validations for about 10 minutes, but it's still acting goofy in perhaps 30% of time. I wish I knew whether the image is or is not ok. (The good news is that I changed my hard drive over a month ago and ATI restored just fine an image made just prior to drive change)

Anyway, see attached log and picture of its goofy behavior.
